This Community Cares A Capital Campaign for St. Clare Health Mission
From the very first time Sr. Leclare Beres opened our doors in 1993, our volunteer-led free clinic has remained steadfast in our founding purpose: providing compassionate, no-cost medical care to those who have nowhere else to turn.
A Legacy of Compassion
Over 20,000 unique patients have walked through our doors since that first day—over 20,000 lives touched by healing and hope. Each one represents a parent who could finally see a doctor, a child who received life-saving medication, a worker who got back on his feet. Behind every number is a story of dignity restored and a future made brighter.
Unique, Impressive, and Award-Winning: For more than three decades, we have been a beacon of hope for our most vulnerable neighbors. From the beginning with Sr. Leclare, FSPA, Gundersen Clinic, Lutheran Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and Skemp Clinic, this continuing collaboration is unique even among free clinics.
Hundreds of medical professionals have donated tens of thousands of hours. Community members have given their resources, their time, their hearts.
When a community cares, miracles happen—one patient, one volunteer, one act of compassion at a time.

About the Campaign
This Campaign Is Both Urgent and Transformative
Since 1993, we have served over 20,000 unique patients, delivering healthcare and wellness where our community needs it most. We meet people where they are: in our clinic, in therapy offices, within health systems, on our mobile unit, in parks, on street corners, and beyond. Each individual we serve creates a ripple effect throughout our region—healthier families, more stable households, stronger communities.
The Urgent Reality
We face the largest rollback of healthcare and social service funding since the 1980s. Vulnerable populations will be hit hardest. Safety nets are fraying. Clinic doors are closing. The need will not decrease—it will surge.
Your Opportunity to Make History
With your support, we will be ready. More than ready—we will expand our reach precisely when others are forced to pull back. While funding disappears elsewhere, St. Clare Health Mission will stand firm, doors open wider than ever.
Your investment today ensures that no one in our region faces a health crisis alone. Not now. Not ever.
